burnout series takedown

It is the third game in the Burnout series of video games. Released on September 7, 2004, developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts (the first Burnout game EA published), the game drew critical acclaim and a large fan base.

While the Burnout series was always about arcade racing fun, Burnout 3 took things to a whole new level with the introduction of crash mode and road rage. There might be better ways to burn off the frustration of the day than racing down a road at blistering speeds while trying to force your opponents off the road and into spectacular crashes, but we doubt that they're legal.
Burnout 3 takes the hit series even further, now featuring a unique "crash and burn" racing concept and a one-of-a-kind special effects engine that delivers spectacular visuals. The intensity heats up as players race, and often crash, their way through oncoming traffic in an attempt to claim the top spot. Boasting multiple single-player, multiplayer and online crash and race modes, Burnout 3 offers players the opportunity to race through busy city streets and be rewarded for taking risks that result in heart-pounding action and electrifying crashes.
I have rarely, if ever, found a driving game that made my adrenaline pump, caused me to break out in a cold sweat and had me swearing violently at the screen while still gagging for more of the same - until now.
The single player ROCKS! However, EA totally screwed up multiplayer with disconnects every several minutes. They should have left the servers to M$.
Absolutely stunning. One of the best games there are on the PS2. It gives you a real sense of speed (even the slowest cars) and the fastest cars make you feel like they're doing 300! I don't see how you could improve on this game...but still let them try.…

Action fighting ps2 game bully

Bully, also known as Canis Canem Edit for the PAL region PlayStation 2 version, is an action-adventure open world video game released by Rockstar Vancouver for the PlayStation 2 on 17 October 2006 in North America, and 25 October 2006 in the United Kingdom.

Bully takes the Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking and original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling to an entirely new setting: the schoolyard. As a mischevious schoolboy, you’ll stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy. Bully is the outrageously funny debut title from Rockstar Vancouver and will be hitting shelves in October 17th 2006.
Bully has a lot of elements fans of the Grand Theft Auto series are looking for, including an open world to explore, the freedom to be bad, and loads of humor. But Bully puts you in the shoes of a militant boy sent to a prep school to be reformed. It's not about cappin' fools or making your way to the top of a criminal empire. Instead, you want to make it through another day of class and maybe throw a wrench into the system as a teenage rebel.
This refreshing change is a big reason why we love Bully so much. Despite being rated for Teens (and not being considered Mature), Bully still manages to touch on a number of sensitive social issues. If you want, anti-hero Jimmy Hopkins can find himself a boyfriend. Scandalous.
Refer to the in-game maps. The mini-map shows the locations of nearby authorities as red dots. Stay clear and avoid bullying near authorities unless you are eager for detention. Press the "Select" button on the PS2 controller to display the full map to plot routes to mission, store and job locations.
PLAYING TIPS FOR BULLY
The Bully HUD displays a clock at the upper left, Jimmy's health meter and mini-map at the upper right, interaction icons appear at the lower right when another character is targeted and equipped weapons are at the bottom left.
Watch the clock. Sleeping is enforced in Bully. The clock displays Zs when Jimmy is about to pass out. Get to bed or you lose some of your weapons in the night.
Complete the classes early in the game. Passing each level of a class unlocks new skills
Pay attention to the on screen tips. Tips often appear just under the clock. These tips inform you that a new skill, location or chapter has been unlocked and how to access these features.
Check your statistics. Press the "Select" or "Start" buttons on the PS2 controller to view your game statistics.

action-adventure ps2 video game Beyond Good & Evil

Beyond Good & Evil is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft and released in late 2003 for the GameCube, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox platforms. The story follows the adventures of Jade, an investigative reporter and martial artist, who works with a resistance movement to reveal a planet-wide alien conspiracy. The player controls Jade and allies, solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and obtaining photographic evidence.

A third-person title, Beyond Good & Evil cast you as a photojournalist named Jade. When Jade discovers an alien plot, she and her friends are on the case and you're along for the stealthy, slick-looking ride. It was set in the future, it had a smart lady as the protagonist and there were even pig-people, but Beyond Good & Evil never took off -- killing what the developers hoped would become a trilogy. Still, the game's unique setup and action won enough hearts that it became a cult classic and even has a downloadable, HD version coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in 2011. Camera's at the ready, sharpshooters.

In Beyond Good & Evil, stealth is treated much like the rest of the game's puzzles. You simply want to get to the next room, but patrolling guards are in the way. So you'll either have to avoid detection by staying out of sight or incapacitate the guards by blinding them with a well-placed shot to the tank on their backs. A guard can repair another guard's faulty tank, so in rooms with multiple guards, you'll have to either be a fast shot or find a quieter way through. Nonlethal stealth is quickly becoming one of those "love it or hate it" gameplay elements, and while the stealth in BG&E is handled well, there's enough of it to turn off people who don't care for it.

sony play station2 game Amplitude

Amplitude is a 2003 PlayStation 2 musical video game. It was developed by Harmonix and is the sequel to the game Frequency.Amplitude, a sequel to the Harmonix original Frequency, was essentially an updated version of its predecessor.

The game once again featured a fantastic track list and addictive gameplay, with several modes to keep players hooked for countless hours.A no le difference between the two titles, however, is in the way the musical tracks were arranged. While Frequency structured the playable pathways in a cylinder (which allowed players to move through the level seamlessly), the pathways in Amplitude were like a flat road, which enhanced the challenge of moving from one instrument to the next.

Even rhythm action fans already accustomed to new concepts and ideas were blown away by Frequency's stunning mix of hypnotic, trance-inducing visuals, big-name musical artists and finger-warping gameplay. However, creator Harmonix wasn't content with just messing with our minds and turning us into non-blinking FreQs, and so they've crafted the mighty Amplitude in a bid to make our heads completely explode.

As before, your aim is to combine your sense of rhythm, reflexes and digital dexterity to 'capture' individual tracks from a host of popular tunes and create music on the fly. The line-up is even stronger than before, with appearances from legends such as David Bowie, Run DMC and Herbie Hancock as well as popular mainstream bands such as Garbage, Papa Roach, Weezer and Pink. This truly is Frequency taken to whole new echelon, so dim the lights, turn the volume up and prepare to become immersed in a world of audio-visual excellence.

Microsoft as a cleaner story

An unemployed man goes to try for a job with Microsoft as a cleaner.
The manager there arranges for an aptitude test (Section: Floors, sweeping and cleaning).
After the test, the manager says: You will be appointed on the scale of $30 per day, let me have your e-mail address, so that I can send a form to complete and advise you where to report for work on your first day.
Taken aback, the unemployed man protests that he is neither in possession of a computer nor of an e-mail address.
To this the MS exist and can therefore hardly expect to be employed. Stunned, the man leaves.
Not knowing where to turn and only having about $10 left, he decides to buy a 10kg box of tomatoes at the supermarket.
Within less than 2 hours, he sells the tomatoes singly at 100% profit. Repeating the process several times more that day, he ends up with almost $100 before going to sleep that night. And thus it dawns on the man that he could quite easily make a living selling tomatoes. Getting up early and earlier every day and going to bed late and later, he multiplies his hoard of profits in quite a short time.
Not too long thereafter, he acquires a cart to transport several dozen boxes of tomatoes, only to have to trade it in again shortly afterwards on a pick-up truck.
By the end of the second year, he is the owner of a fleet of pick-up trucks and manages a staff of a hundred former unemployed people, all selling tomatoes.
Considering the future of his wife and children, he decides to buy some life assurance.
Calling an insurance adviser, he picks an insurance plan to fit his new circumstances. At the end of the telephone conversation, the adviser asks him for his e-mail address in order that he might forward the documentation.
When the man replies that he has no e-mail, the adviser is stunned: "What, you don't even have e-mail?
How on earth have you managed to amass such wealth without the Internet, e-mail and e-commerce?
Just imagine where you would have been by now, if you had been connected from the very start!"
After a moment's silence, the tomato millionaire replied: "Sure! I would have been a cleaner at Microsoft!"
Morals of the story:
1: The Internet, e-mail and e-commerce do not need to rule your life.
2: If you don't have e-mail, but work hard, you can still become a millionaire.
3: Seeing that you got this story via e-mail, you're probably closer to becoming a cleaner than you are to becoming a millionaire.
4: If you do have a computer and e-mail, you're already being taken to the cleaners by Microsoft.

With its sprawling tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains and cool air, it’s no surprise that Munnar was rated the second-best Asian travel destination, only second to Tokyo. Our editor CLINT THOMAS had a day out in Munnar and captured its poetic beauty.
